Warrior Runs out of Fuel KRIC

A Piper Warrior, N81917, approaching Richmond (KRIC) en-route from Chatam, Ma (KCQX) ran out of fuel on second approach attempt.

This was the first I plane I ever flew. I did much of my training in her. Sorry to see this. Glad the pilot's ok.
