United bird strike departing Newark

About as calm of a bird strike as you can get.  I was amazed how many times there was a frequency changed, never noticed that before.
No issues really found, taxied to the gate.

United Airlines flight UA2053, an Airbus A319-131, struck bird on departure. The flight returned to land and a large dent was observed on the mid left leading edge slat.
