A United Boeing 777-200, registration N788UA performing flight UA-1890 from Los Angeles,CA to Newark,NJ (USA), was enroute when the aircraft encountered severe turbulence. The aircraft continued to Newark for a safe landing.
The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED SEVERE TURBULENCE INJURYING FLIGHT ATTENDANTS AND PASSENGERS, NEWARK, NJ." and stated three flight attendants and thirteen passengers received minor injuries.
