I'm not even sure where to start looking, but would this have been archived by LiveATC?

Hello Eric,

Here's the Flightaware track for UAL1637...

After looking around a little, the only reference I found to this flight in the audio archives was after they turned around and started their approach to KOMA.  The attached audio clip picks them up checking in on Omaha Approach and then later on being handed off to Omaha Tower.  The same feed with Approach is also supposed to have Omaha Tower but I didn't hear any Tower communications at all.  Maybe the feed no longer scans it?  Or the tower freq is locked out for some reason?  I don't know.  Anyway, here's what I did manage to find...

Thanks Ron - I wonder who went to assist the FO in the cockpit and handled some of the radios. I hear the FO herself a few times.

Happy new year!

You may not hear much from KOMA as you would from R90.

The issue there is that unless there is a repeater somewhere between R90 and KOMA, line of sight will be lost between Tower and the scanner.

Omaha TRACON (R90) is located at Offutt AFB (KOFF), so the feed provider would have to be in proximity of KOFF to pick up the TRACON (putting them somewhere in Bellevue). It's a good 20 miles drive between Offutt and Eppley, and a beeline would put downtown Omaha right in its path as well.

There aren't that many homes over by KOMA either; across Carter Lake would be the closest, so to get a good Tower feed there may require some help at the field (read: FBO).

Old topic but new info.

Thank goodness for a B1B pilot.  Most of all- he didn't ask for any notoriety or pats on the back.  Bet he could have a job at UA in a snap.
