United 964

Last Sunday evening, as I was coming into the DC area, I briefly heard an exchange between Potomac approach and United 964.  They were coordinating with Potomac to circle and dump fuel.

From the flight track, it looks like something happened:

The flight is a nonstop to Moscow, so they would have had a lot of fuel to dump.

I searched news stories and didn't see anything reported.  Anyone know what happened, or have the time to listen to the Potomac feeds and find out?

Interesting that the track does not continue on to an obvious landing, but just cuts off in the holding pattern.  Not sure how FlightAware works in terms of when they start and stop tracking, but I assumed it was as long as an aircraft had an IFR flight plan active and was in radar contact?
