Anyone have a good copy of United airlines flight 232 that crashed in sioux city???

I would have to say no.

UAL232 occurred well before the onset of any streaming or recording media for the 'net, let alone public use of the 'net by the universities. UAL232 happened at KSUX (not far from where I lived). RealAudio came on around '95 - '96.

I stand corrected. I didn't think of the CVR. I was thinking more of ATC comms.

For those who may not know the story of United 232, it is an amazing one. One of determination, and overcoming typically insurmountable odds. The DC-10 was left virtually unflyable after the uncontained failure of the number 2 powerplant.

The aircraft, McDonnell Douglas DC-10-10 N1819U (cn 46618/118), is pictured below.
