Title: Tug Fire at A-East KPHL
Post by: PHXCONXrunner on February 25, 2012, 06:58:01 PM
And you know that when a Speedbird pilot calls it "quite a large fire", you have an inferno ;)

No injuries or damage to the aircraft.

"Flight attendants prepare cabin for departure. Ladies and gentlemen we're pushing back from our gate now and should be in the air in just a few minutes. For those of you sitting on the right side of the aircraft you may notice one of the airport tugs on fire. That's an interesting thing you don't get to see every day. We should be to our destination in about 2 hours. We know you have a choice when you fly so thank you for choosing us today. Have a good day."

So calm!! good old British Airways ,

Reminds me when a BA 747 was outbound of JFK and they had an engine fire, The tower was was advising the BA aircraft he had flames coming out an engine  the reply from the aircraft was a simple "Roger"

Excellent Stuff,
