There were several helicopters patrolling the clashes today in Charlottesville, VA. At one point, Fairfax One reports smoke on the ground, which turns out to be the crash of Trouper One. My prayers go out to the families of the two people killed in the crash...
Attached is what I found in the KCHO tower feed concerning this tragic accident, which hits pretty close to home. I did my solo cross country flight to KCHO when I was earning my license many years ago, and my daughter is a UVA graduate. So sad......
