At 10:45am PST Doug Mirabelli got on a private jet after a trade with the padres to the redsox. He landed at 6:48pm at Logan Intl and made it for the game only moments after the 7:05 start. This is a short clip from APP and Final.

Go Mariners! Only 2.5 games back.
... At least we aren't Kansas City. :-)

mk223, thanks for the clip!!
Dumb question: When the pilot mentions "Doug" how does the contoller know it's Mirabelli?
-
I bet there had to have been more communication than what i heard. Come on, how could they slide into Boston during the tail end of the rush hour.

Doug's plane was given direct BOS VOR when they were around ALB. At one point, the AstraJet was the fastest a/c in the Northeast- and I'm not talking a tailwind.... lol.
