TCF5124 Emergency Landing EWR No Nose Gear
« on: February 27, 2012, 08:30:39 PM »
Shuttle America Embraer E170 performed an emergency landing at Newark tonight without a nose gear. It looks like everyone involved did a terrific job!!

Long ATC transmissions attached, multiple frequencies. As always, everything non-relevant edited out.

I couldn't upload the entire clip in one go (timing out error???) so I broke it up into two parts. Here's part 1.

more info....

"During recovery of the aircraft the nose was lifted, the nose gear however still did not extend. The nose wheels were found turned sideways in the wheel well preventing extension."
