Title: Tampa: RTO, fire, air cart start, misc ground movements
Post by: oktalist on May 31, 2016, 06:32:12 PM
United 1948, a Boeing 737-800 rejected takeoff from Tampa's runway 19R due to a blown tire. There was a small brake fire which was extinguished. With the aircraft disabled on the runway the airport reverted to single runway ops, and ground had to adapt taxi routings and juggle planes to keep arrivals and departures from getting in each other's way, so I kept in a lot of that RT for interest.

The stream is quite noisy and suffers from significant clipping due to being too loud, I cleaned it up as best as I could. The clip begins with a funny exchange between the ground controller and an American 757 concerning their air cart start.
