This is more of a request than me having something, as I'm at work, and the archives are blocked off for me (firewall).
SWA251 encountered a tail strike while landing on 25L at KLAS at roughly 7:45pm PST on 3rd Jan. 2014 (between 0156Z and 0356Z on 4th Jan. 2012).
That should be in the archives (again, I'm behind a firewall so I can't currently get to it). Could someone have a listen to those to see if it was picked up, and if so, post it here (even if it is the entire unedited clip)? That would be a good listen.

I assume you mean SWA2516?
Yes, you're right. I thought I typed in the full flight number, but I missed it. It was indeed SWA2516.

Found the audio of that flight but there was no mention of a tail strike on landing...you're sure of the date right?
-
If you were the pilot, would you mention it over the air?
-
Good point :-) and I suppose that anyone else who saw it would have kept quiet too...

I don't know... if I had been in line for takeoff I might have asked him if he forgot the toilet paper...
