Can't wait to listen to them on their way home with the Trophy and the rings......Will they get Presidential Arrival? or will Pitts ATIS have something in it?

Great clip, thanks... I gotta say though, that's quite the conversation (almost sounds rehearsed)?  How did they get the callsign "Steelers"?  It sounds like a one-time thing?

Sounds very similar to the clip of the Delta 757 returning to KBOS with the world series champion Boston Red Sox.  The pilots actually told the controllers they were going to put the ATC over the PA so that the controllers could give their compliments to the entire team.  I remember one clip "UALxxx caution wake turbulence, you're following the world series champ boston redsox 5 miles ahead."

msk1172 - that's original... wake turbulence!  :)

I still have a question though: if the flight was USAir 9099 - how/why are they allowed to change it to Steeleres One?  I think it's cool, but curious if they had to submit an application or whatnot?

"STLR1  B752 PIT  STAPLEFORD FLIGHT CENTRE"

Someone down the line did indeed get that callsign approved.
