SOUTHWEST HOT MIC and GOAT ROPING... MAD Controller KLAX 7/24/10

Hy everyone, Just got this. Southwest has a stuck mic and he is talking about hitting it when he adjust trim on the yoke. Calls it Goat Roping or something. Controller was not happy with them. This is real time except for when the mic got unstuck for a few seconds and it was talk from the other complex. OVER 2 MIN with a stuck mic. LoL.

i recorded something similar years ago but dont have it anymore. ATC was having problems and i could hear controllers talking bout various stuff, and swearing their heads off. got quite a laugh out of it

When I first got my scanner I would spend most evenings listening to Enroute frequencies for aircraft near me. One night, I think it was SWA as well, I caught a stuck mic for about 5 minutes and the conversation at one point was about MILFs and Cougars. I wish I had been able to record it at the time, I'm sure he was red faced after he saw he was still Tx.

"goat roping" is screwing something up. "a goat rope" is a situation that is screwed up. "screwed" being the term used in polite conversation.
