AAL2101 was enroute from Seattle WA to Dallas Tx on July 18 when the disruptive and dangerous behavior of a passenger forced the crew to divert to Salt Lake City in Utah. The passenger attempted to open exterior doors while cruising at FL330. He disturbed other passengers, ignored instructions to stay in his seat and even sexually propositioned a flight attendant. It got worse when he vaped on board and then locked himself in a lavatory. A number of flight crew members and passengers restrained the 26-year old male until police in Salt Lake City could take over.
