Small Plane Crashes into Mobile Home Park in Clearwater Florida
« on: February 02, 2024, 03:06:09 UTC »
Shortly after 7pm on February 1 a small plane crashed into a mobile home park in Clearwater, Florida.  The aircraft was a Beechcraft Bonanza V35; the flight was enroute from Vero Beach to Clearwater Airpark when they had an engine failure.  A number of mobile homes caught fire as a result of the crash and unfortunately there are reports that "several" people have lost their lives.

(first post)

I'm curious, what feed did you use to get the audio?  TPA Approach 118.8?

Yes, unfortunately, the controller could not be heard on that feed.
