SkyWest 6470 Gear Problem KLAX 5-2-10

Caught this an hour ago... Would of never known had the pilot actually switched to SoCal Dep. Thought he was talking to dep. but he was still on tower freq. It was a CRJ-200 Going to Salt Lake City.
