Title: Salt Lake Center - Crash in Wyoming
Post by: canotuna on October 27, 2010, 05:49:51 PM
Does anyone have the audio from Salt Lake Center for this?

A Minneapolis pliot and 3 sons are missing after their flight went down from Jackson Hole to Pierre?

Flight was a Mooney 201, tail number N201HF.

:-o Actually it was a Mooney M20J The M20J was marketed under the name Mooney 201 because of its 201 mph (323 km/h) top speed in level flight.
It is a Ovation and some tech info here: http://worldaircraftsearch.com/aircraft_for_sale/mooney/m20j/25881/

We love to look at it FAST

It would be really sad if it did not survive a irregular landing... :x

Actually, this aircraft is not an Ovation, but an early 201 (1977 model) with the four-cylinder Lycoming.
