His tone to the woman controller was quite rude, happened today at 16:23Z
-
Was there supposed to be an audio file attachd to this?

United 7 was not rude at all !!!! The female controller asked "Say again" and United did in a slow clear way... Only Asians (no offence) think this is rude, but we call it better pronounced, so the controller can clearly understand what he was saying...
Attached the clip of all of the United 7 communication

Didn't sound remotely rude to me either
-
Gimme a break....rude ? where ? not in this recording ! Please get serious you desk pilots....
-
United 7 sounded pretty casual to me. Just a bit tired after a long flight maybe? I've heard worse, a lot worse.
-
Articulating when one asks you to repeat your radio traffic isn't rude.
In contrast, pejorative comments like "you desk pilots" is rude.
-
Besides, anybody who can get a desk to fly is a heck of a lot better pilot than I... "Steelcase 701, fly Blotter Two arrival, radar vectors to Cubicle 22 approach..."
-
ID, that's just too funny! :-D
And Zacek I agree with you...
Ron
-
Steelcase 701 you are number two behind Xerox heavy, report employee lounge in sight.
-
"Cross WaterCooler at or below second floor..."
Clearly this is a potentially dangerous thread that ought to be shut down as soon as possible.

Desk pilot? Is that an Airbus pilot or an FSX virtual pilot?
I do agree with you, I couldn't hear anything rude.
-
Might be tired after a long flight but not rude!
-
InterpreDemon you just cracked me up. lol
-
:| Ooops, I allmost forgot about this, the title says " Rude United 7 Captain landing singapore"..... "Captain".....
yes sometimes the Captain when Pilot flying (PF) operates the radio, but usually the Pilot NOT flying (PNF) does , so who knows who was flying....
Anyway this topic may be closed.......
-
he's right...i don't see anything wrong there...let alone being rude..
-
The United 7 pilot sounds quite normal to me, and very relaxed in what can be a very busy and demanding
approach if the WX is a bit nasty as it can be on approach to WSSS a Tropical airfeild as far as WX is concerned.
Sorry he shoulds very professional to me, and the controlers sould ok to in their busy environment.
