A Royal Malaysian Air Force pilot dies on his 45th birthday when a twin turboprop aircraft model Beechcraft King Air B200T crashed near the Butterworth RMAF Air Base at Kampung Pengkalan TUDM.

The attached very brief extract from Butterworth Radar ATC is all the audio I've found containing communications with the doomed aircraft. Apart from the pilot securing a weather diversion, there is nothing to suggest a potential problem and imminent tragedy.
