« on: March 12, 2025, 17:58:01 UTC »
(never did find/hear and call mayday/pan, but all found alive and well after an autorotation landing)

A Robinson R44 Raven II, N128AF, was substantially damaged following a forced landing in Chicago, Illinois. The pilot and two passengers were not injured.

Preliminary information provided by the NTSB indicates that while conducting a tour flight, the pilot smelled a burning odor, felt a vibration in the tail boom, heard and felt "clicking". The pilot subsequently made an emergency landing on the Jackson Park Golf Course. The tail boom sustained substantial damage during the landing sequence.
