Reports of a Fireball?
« on: February 24, 2009, 07:28:00 PM »
Report of a fireball early this morning at around 1000z. Not really sure what the initial report was but here's a clip from what I got. I assume a fireball would be on the ground?

A fireball is a meteor that is really big and bright. I captured this one outside my house the first night I setup a meteor camera. This was awsome to wake up and find the next morning.

I believe the controller was not familiar with this term.
