DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —
A small plane was forced to make a hard landing at the Daytona Beach International Airport on Friday after experiencing gear issues.
At around 3 p.m., a light twin training aircraft, Diamond DA-42, experienced landing gear issues and called an alert to the control tower.
Multiple attempts were made to engage the full landing gear. However, officials said after numerous failed attempts, the aircraft landed with partial landing gear at 4:40 p.m.
