SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - No one was injured when a small civilian aircraft made an emergency landing at a golf course off Eisenhower Drive Thursday night, according to authorities.
First responders from several Savannah agencies responded to the Bacon Park Golf Course Thursday night after reports of an aircraft deploying parachutes and landing at the course. Savannah police confirmed there were two people inside the craft who were uninjured. Chuck Kearns with Chatham County Emergency Services said the passengers refused being taken to a hospital.
Authorities said the aircraft deployed a parachute before making the emergency landing.
