Here's a clip of my friend's girlfriend's flight.
Apparently, they had an engine failure of some sort during takeoff last night at around 7:20 pm.

Please excuse the file size. I'm still learning how to use the editor program.

Indeed because it doesn't work in Winamp.

whiterabbit,
First off, welcome to LiveATC!!
I got it to work by copying and pasting the link in Windows Media Player (hit file, then Open URL).
You might want to make another version that has the last 3 minutes or so editied out (however it's always fun to hear aircraft being cleared for takeoffs and landings; after all, that is what this site is all about!).

Thanks C172. It was my first attempt at Audacity. I think I got the hang of it now.
I love your picture...another fine McDonnell Douglas product. Or Boeing. I can't remember if the superhornet was after the merger.

HAHAHA! :D Yep...actually, I found it on the Boeing website.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the F/A-18A, -B, -C, and -D were manufactured by McDonnnell Douglas/Boeing, and the Super Hornet (F/A-18E/F) was strictly a Boeing product. However, don't quote me on that! :D
P.S. I'm glad that you've got Audacity down. Any time you get a interesting clip, post it. It's a lot of fun for other posters, plus, 99% of the time, you'll get a great discussion! :D

I like to think of it as MD bought Boeing with Boeing's own money.
After the merger it was MD folks who became the CEO's.
And let's not forget the logo in front of Boeing's signature mark is MD's or a variant of MD's logo.
I'm still upset that Boeing took an MD design and renamed it 717.
Thanks, C172.
I'll monitor the freq and post anything interesting. I mainly listen to KPHL TWR.

I totally agree. I bet you got to hear some good scuttlebutt while you worked at MD.
Regarding audio clips, Philly Tower is a great place to search for "keepers." Good choice! :D
Let me know if I can test any clips out for you! :D (I LOVE doing that!)
