The Philadelphia Phillies returned to Philadelphia from spring training last night aboard DAL8890. As fortune would have it (or maybe as planned) they arrived at a quiet time for arrivals at KPHL and, on final, ATC was able to afford the aircraft an opportunity to do a 360 over Citizens Bank Park (Phillies home stadium) to see the field and, in particular, the brand new huge HD screen/scoreboard which was lit up to welcome them home. Edited for time and to omit a few non-related transmissions.

"Approach, please let us know if we need to do a 360 for safety. We like to do it over the stadium if possible."
That was a nice hint hint.

On behalf of the Phillies, thanks for this post. Our office now has it for fun.
