NY ARTCC Having Antenna Issues?

The controller for ZNY Sector 86 was having some difficulties reaching a two different aircraft by radio so he asked DAL176 for help relaying some instructions.  After successfully relaying the instructions, the ZNY controller attempted to explain why he couldn't reach those aircraft...  :-D
