Title: N98KC down in Seattle area
Post by: NickBartolotta on August 11, 2008, 09:44:43 PM
Listening to the KSEA - Seattle WA (covers various Approach frequencies and SEA Tower) tonight, and was not really paying much attention to what was going on, since I keep it on for background while I'm doing work.

Well, my ears perked up when I heard Seattle Approach asking for "fuel and souls on board" -- uh oh, emergency!

Archived clip of N98KC with an engine out. Only bits and pieces since the feed goes back and forth between frequencies, so it's a bit hard to follow and it's not much...sounds like Seattle Approach handled it well. Hope all are safe!

Wow, and just after I posted that, went to check out some of the local news sites.

Glad everyone got out alright!
