I don't get this part?

"Tower mayday mayday mayday we got an emergency, engine out on the field."

I guess the engine is out because the prop blades are hitting the ground?

Thanks for the clip. Sounds like the same ground controller and the Sikorsky 301CV on approach, at a previous incident at Westchester, http://www.liveatc.net/forums/atcaviation-audio-clips/gear-up-landing-at-hpn/msg19654/#msg19654

Hello I'm an air traffic controller from Shanghai,China. I feel so happy and surprised to find such a good website that I can learn more and have more chance to communicate with other friends from all over the world. I have one question that any friend can offer me a hand. In China,we always control A/C in Chinese,so English is just used for foreign crews. I have no chance to learn how to make the traffic information to foreign ones. any one can help me?(PS:I'm an area controller)
