ATC archive from N6869R (Cessna 210) crash near KPVU. The pilot was one of my flight instructors and sadly died in the accident.

One thing sticks out like a sore thumb here:
He was too high, had to circle to lose altitude, still didn't make the field, and it wound up fatal.
This accident is a good reminder to us all to get out in the sticks, pick our point, and practice those engine-out procedures.

My instructor died while skydiving in Lake Perris, Ca...... His parachute opened hard and broke his neck!

I'll def. say a prayer for the family. Very sad to hear.

that sucks...RIP.
we just had a bonanza crash 2 weeks ago here...luckily the pilot lived (he was the only one on board)
