N6869R - Cessna 210 Crash near KPVU

ATC archive from N6869R (Cessna 210) crash near KPVU.  The pilot was one of my flight instructors and sadly died in the accident.

One thing sticks out like a sore thumb here: 

He was too high, had to circle to lose altitude, still didn't make the field, and it wound up fatal.

This accident is a good reminder to us all to get out in the sticks, pick our point, and practice those engine-out procedures.

Well it is really a bad news but we cant do anything except tell them how they can even survive by this accidents. I was watching a video of workplace accident

My instructor died while skydiving in Lake Perris, Ca...... His parachute opened hard and broke his neck!

that sucks...RIP.

we just had a bonanza crash 2 weeks ago here...luckily the pilot lived (he was the only one on board)
