Police: Nobody injured in small plane crash on Long Island
Police on Long Island said a small plane carrying three people went down in a residential neighborhood of Valley Stream Sunday night.
Newsday reports that a disoriented pilot flying a rented single-engine plane flying in thick fog with a disoriented pilot ran out of fuel and clipped the roof of a church just after 10 p.m.

Now I realize that my post was never posted... :-o :?

Thanks for sharing all comms with your file. Mine had only JFK part.

Here's an ATC radar display covering their last minutes of flight attempting to land at JFK. Bad weather and busy airspace got this guy overwhelmed and disoriented. Glad they made it alive :wink:

It's a program we developed but it's in constant improvement. Thanks to some real controllers from different US Tracons (N90, SCT, NCT, A80...) we've been able to improve it to a level that it looks very similar to their radar scopes. Very proud I am of this to be honest :-D

LiveATC + Radar Screen = we can virtually sit in front of a scope and feel an ATC ourselves :roll:
