Pretty voice from jetBlue yesterday .

The flight was to my town KSYR, so i edited the arrival of the flight too .

always nice to hear a female voice on the airwaves, but she sounded like she was trying to put on an accent and almost screwed it up a few times.

Haha no way. my recording is not even close to beat that gorgeous voice over europe .

I too thought this was going to be competition with the sultry seductive European supermodel voice. However, since she sounds like a regular normal American female pilot... all the sudden I feel kind of creepy for going through all that trouble to open and listen to the clip. D'OH!

No need to feel creepy at all. Plenty of male voices that I hear over the airwaves that I think "wow!". I wonder what he looks like. Creepy is a few times stalling the pilot on the other end of the phone when I was in crew scheduling to give me enough time to pull up his pic on the company's internal website.

I think some of the pilots did this with us schedulers, too from stuff I overheard from a few bored pilots calling when talking to a female scheduler. Sometimes if I felt the convo was good and he was game I would just tell them I was pulling up their pic. It made for a fun few minutes, really.

Oh well, at least I drew a line at proceeding to try to find out marital status

(even though sometimes I was really, really curious).

I must say that I agree with Koni and it sounds like she's having a little too much fun with the call sign. &-)

I don't mind the flat monotone sound of most controllers.
