damn that's achient - do I hear Eastern, TWA and Pan Am? This must be during or before 1991 when both Pan Am and Eastern went broke.

Definitely a bit old. Caught a CG1471 callsign, which if I recall was one of our HH-3F's, which were retired in '94.

Thanks for the recording. Listened to it while looking at the SFO airport diagram, that controller had his act together!

Again, if there's anymore of this it would be greatly appreciated.  Having said that, if anyone has any old ATC tapes they can post that would be great.

We know Boston John is about as entertaining as it gets but as far as moving traffic like DD in that clip at SFO we can only hypothesize.

I agree wholeheartedly.  This guy is incredibly efficient, level headed, and doesn't sound like he's been a controller for 50 years.  MOCHA HAGoTDI!
