JBU846 gets cut off by a UAL while taxiing.  Here's the exchange when the pilot queries the controller.  At the end the JBU pilot refers to the controller as "...weekend help."

The "smoking gun" transmission was unfortunatley covered up by a Clearance delivery transmission so I guess we'll never know who was right.

Adrian8 gets the finder's fee

LOL!!!

The "weekend help" bit was priceless - if there's one bunch of controllers I wouldnt piss off, it'd be these guys .. or maybe the Heathrow Directors, nah, these guys!  :)

Yup, at the end he says "thought so".  Don't know what would've happened had Jet Blue added to the comment.  That would be one PISSED OFF controller.

As one of those controllers who has had to endure the smart ass chimes in by pilots who ALWAYS thinks their right, I can assure you, the controller heard exactly what he said.  He just wanted to see if the pilot had the brass ones to say it one more time.  When there was no response, his "I thought so" reply is another way of saying "you ain't got the balls".  What one would call a radio relayed "smack down".

Whew, I feel like I just my own butt reamed after listening to that. I gotta hand it to the controller though who called the jetBlue guy out on it.
