"Things are going bad on us"

Although this isn't exactly air traffic control, it's an interesting recording of what can happen when there is a miscommunication over the radio.  This is a recording of two planes involved in parachute jumping in the Lake Elsinore/Murietta area of Southern California.  One of the planes is a spotter while the other holds the jumpers.  Although all ends well, it sounded a bit hairy for the jump plane.  It was recorded on 135.35 Friday afternoon.

Sounds like a formation load, and a high-alt one at that since they were using O2.  Sounds like at least 3 airplanes here - jumpers in all the planes go at once to build a big formation, or 'blot' as we used to call them - they blot out the sun.
