Is it bad luck for an airline to be called "Mayday"

Anyways, nice job by the pilots.  That plane was a bit of a handful for a couple mins there.

Was just doing V1 cuts in the simulator today, and they can get pretty busy if not handled correctly.  This crew did a fine job and there was little movement in the airframe.

Airline is called Thomson and that was one hell of a job landing that!

Very draumatic stuff,

Check out flightlevel350.com, a  chap managed to capture some rather incredible footage. The video is due to go live in a day or so!!

I would imagine his particular movie would be of superior quality as one has become aquainted too.
