Title: MD80 engine failure - handled professionally
Post by: Hollis on October 13, 2009, 02:41:23 PM
Delta 1907 lost an engine shortly after departure from Rochester, just after 1900Z on 10/11/09. Job very well done by pilots and controller.

Handled very professionally.  A very nice job by both pilots and controllers!

Glad the gulls only brought down one engine as opposed to both! We all know what a flock of geese would do.
