The airfreighter was in the initial climb when the crew advised they had encountered "a lot of birds" upon rotation and engine 1 was vibrating. The remains of a number of seagulls were found on the runway. After dumping fuel the aircraft returned to Amsterdam for a safe landing about 55 minutes after departure.
The attached audio clip follows the incident to the fuel dumping. Unfortunately no archives appear to be available to follow it right through. I have included some of the communications in Dutch.
