Title: Long Beach, CA (KLGB) tower and helos, warning:harsh language
Post by: uplink on December 02, 2011, 08:22:41 PM
I'm not down in that part of town much lately, but apparently there's no love lost between a controller at Long Beach and some pilots.  "TV11 if that's you south of Signal Hill, that's nowhere near the Redondo"., "if you care to read any publication".."always a joy here".  The recording is followed by some other Helo's on 123.025.  Not for tender ears.  :-o

It seems to me I've heard this guy before and remember thinking to myself, what an @$$.

Wow. That controller sounds infamous with pilots in the LA area. Is there more recordings of him behaving like that? Sounds like there won't be anymore in the future :-D
