Sweet clip man!  im an EMT and we transport to UCLA, a major trauma center.  when we're in the ER we often hear helipad code-traumas inbound over the intercom, so my partner and I will sneak up to the helipad to watch the landing and patient dropoff.  the current hospital only has one pad so you sometimes see these quick dropoffs, with the chopper quickly sweeping off the pad for a new one...i have to say those guys are true ballers, the medics and the pilots...we all dream of doing something like that someday.

the new UCLA medical center is gonna have two pads, FYI.

Thanks, I was an EMT/FF back home in Vermont so always like listening to that. Too bad I wasn't able to record the night a deer ran out in front of an airplane on takeoff. It happened before I was broadcasting here.

Great clip! Thanks and please keep the hospital helipad feeds coming. I work as a dispatcher for a major Helicopter EMS company in the midwest and I can tell you that you will no doubt hear some of the most....uuummm.....interesting radio traffic on these channels. They are no KLGA or anything but level 1 trauma centers in major cities can and do get quite busy.
