Real short clip, everything fine on the way in, and engine failure !

According to the Greensboro Police Department, the Piedmont Triad Airport received a distress call from a single-engine Beechcraft BE35 experiencing mechanical failure. The plane made an emergency landing on I-840 westbound at the I-73 juncture.  At least one person was injured after a plane touched down Wednesday on a busy Triad interstate.

Police said once the plane landed, a car traveling west made contact with the plane.

Two people were inside the plane at the time, and one of them sustained minor injuries. The person who was injured was treated at a local hospital.

Police said the driver of the car was unharmed.

The NTSB is investigating the landing, and Greensboro police are investigating the crash.
