Title: Late t/o causes go-around, t/o continued after clearance cancelled EBBR 20160911
Post by: oktalist on September 13, 2016, 11:51:11 AM
Incident involving Ukraine International Boeing 737 and KLM regional jet. 737 delayed on runway after being cleared for takeoff, was then instructed to stop but did not do so, RJ was instructed to go around and make an immediate right turn. Retained some unrelated RT in the edit, just to give a sense of the tower controller's workload.

What does the ATC says before the "Ukraine International 146, hold position." ???

I can't understand what he says.

Great catch though!  :-)

"Ukraine International 146, stop immediately, I say again stop immediately."

"Ukraine International 146, stop immediately, I say again stop immediately."

Exactly what I hear, Victor. In fact, I was about to post the same reply when the reply from oktalist popped up.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, at first time I didn't hear that but then realized that it was shown in the avherald post. Now knowing what he really says, I hear it too

Thanks for the help!  :-)
