According to the Martinair website, they planned on flying passengers until the end of 2011...wonder why they halted passenger service two months early...

"Martinair will continue flying passengers to and from holiday destinations in the large Caribbean region until the end of 2011. Flights can still be booked to all destinations."

It appears those employees affected by this will be taken in by KLM...

"When this proposed decision is implemented, the KLM Group will make every effort to keep affected employees within the KLM family. About 600 of over 1800 Martinair employees will be affected."
