As KORD snowed in last night, the last two departures shown on FlightAware were UAL9790 @7:12PM, & BAW294 @7:29PM. The flight that departed at 7:29 went by "Speedbird20R". The BA clip is edited down to 4-1/2 minutes from the 20 minutes that elapsed - their reluctance to go is almost palpable.

Both flights were 777s. Air France 667 ( an A330 ) canceled its "line up & wait" on runway 4R & returned to the gate, due to the wings not being clean, and indicated that the crosswind would be too high on 10, shortly before the Boeings took off from that runway.

( Boeing vs. Airbus partisans to magically appear in 3 ... 2 ... 1... Oh. Right. This is LiveATC, not AvHerald. Never mind. )

I was on BA294, after the first aborted take off I wouldn't have been unhappy if we'd returned to the terminal.
