KSAN - where's united 1538?
« on: April 01, 2014, 05:12:32 PM »
This was a humorous interchanged I heard while waiting in line for take off this morning.  I only clipped some of the gaps, otherwise recording all in tact.

Think it's a random pilot saying "copacetic".  San Diego doesn't allow take off before 6:30am, so that time there's always a long line of planes waiting for their departure.

If you mean the tower controller, then he only knows as much as what the ground controller tells him. Sounds like what might have happened is that the ground controller wasn't quite awake yet and transposed two UAL strips in the lineup.
