So everyone is clear, there is not a stuck mic in this clip.  There is a missed step to reset  the audio panel, so that the mic was routed to the com radio (as it almost always stays selected) rather than to the passenger intercom.  It is not terribly unusual to hear someone doing this.

I agree this is not a stuck mic case.  In a real case, I alway wonder why someone always asks for everyone to check their mics.  Any aircraft radio I've ever used cuts off the reception while the mic is activated so the guilty party will never hear the pleas.  Are newer radios different?

Obviously you're right. I think "check for stuck mic, please" was the controller's nice way of saying, "be careful what you're saying on the frequency, guys" in that moment. Plus it was just the easiest title I could come up with quickly. :)
