KJFK day of radio issues

Just a couple of clips from today where some pilots had radio problems.
These clips are from the 1700 KJFK Ground/Clearance archive.
You may want to turn your speakers down before playing these, there are some high squeels and it could hurt your ears.

Snagged this clip just after 12AM this morning. Someone decided it'd be funny to play around with the radio since there wasn't much traffic going in and out of JFK.

That's funny.  Sounds like a SNL routine where the mother scolds the kids about "playing" with certain body parts

But the radio ticks, they come across as maybe somebody just carrying a portable, maybe in their flight bag, and its keying on.

But the breathing into the mic, that's someone who knows the radio is hot

I'm surprised more of this doesn't happen.  What prevents some little kid playing with an aviation radio and disrupting the air traffic control during a busy day?

ROFL! Susan says not to play with the tower frequency, we'd better listen
