Saturday 9/20/25 - Approx 23:20-23:45Z (7:20-7:45pm local) - DCA stopped for Marine One movement from WH (P-56A) to Mt Vernon (P-73); elongated delay due to variable timing of the movement and flight path directly down the approach corridor for Rwy 1, preceded by USPP Eagle-1 on the same path). DAL950 just makes it in before the activities, executing a left 360 to reduce altitude. AAL527 directly behind DAL950 just misses the cut and after holding, finally has to divert to IAD due to fuel. Various other arrivals holding on final; departures were light.
