Saturday 6/14/25 ~2130Z (5:30pm local) with weather challenges and parade activities advanced to 2200Z (Golden Knights drop ~2220Z), some sharp work by DCA Tower and Ground controllers to get out final departures inbetween a remaining arrival and a brief stop for medevac @2040Z expedited across the departure corridor to DC Children's. FFT689 just made it out as the last flight handed off to Departure at 2158.
The helicopter being deconflicted during departures is Dept Homeland Security TROY helicopter on station over DC just N of P56-A about 2 miles E of the river at ~2000ft.
